Job Description

DIRECTOR OF DECISION & DATA SCIENCEUP TO £180,000 + BENEFITS + BONUSLONDONDo you have experience leading the data strategy in a global corporation and are comfortable leading large teams and having huge business impact using data science with a customer experience focusTHE COMPANY:As a Director of Decision and Data Science, you will lead the data function for a well-known multi-national brand that operates in nearly 200 countries and is one of the leading corporations and providers in this space.THE ROLE:The role of Director of Decision & Data Science involves leading the data function of around 200 people across the business which focuses on the marketing and customer experience at a large scale.Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • You will be leading the decision and data science teams across the business.
  • You will be developing the data strategy and data road map for the entire customer base.
  • You will have extensive experience and deep knowledge in data science, machine learning, and practical impact and use cases.
  • You will set strategically aligned team goals through frameworks like KPIs and OKRs that build toward a cohesive collective road map.
  • You will manage a multi-million capital investment in data products and services.
  • You will use and understand Pega Decisioning and the capabilities of Pega in customer-facing channels.
    • YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:The successful Director of Decision/ Data Science will have the following skills and experience:
  • Educated to BSc in a STEM degree
  • Proven experience in a similar role, leading the data strategy of a large business with a customer experience focus developing areas such as personalization and marketing strategy.
  • Experience leading teams and spearheading a data function.
  • Extensive commercial experience in data science/ machine learning and the latest concepts and principles.
  • Experience leading large teams and managing projects for global a corporate environment.
    • THE BENEFITS:The successful Director of Decision and Data Science will receive a salary, dependent on experience, of up to £180,000.
