Job Description

DATA SCIENCE DIRECTORREMOTE£110,000 - £140,000COMPANY:We are working with a healthcare company who are dedicated to changing the industry through data-driven insights. They leverage clinical trial and survey data to drive innovation, enhance patient outcomes, and optimize healthcare solutions. They are seekinga dynamic and experienced Director of Data Science to lead our talented team and shape the future of healthcare analytics.ROLE:

  • Engage directly with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities related to healthcare data.
  • Translate complex data science concepts into compelling narratives for clients, demonstrating the value of data-driven insights in healthcare decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate client feedback into the development and implementation of data-driven solutions.
  • Lead the development of client-facing reports, presentations, and other deliverables to communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in data science to provide clients with innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and contribute to client acquisition and retention.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ph.D. or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 8 years) in data science roles, with a focus on healthcare and pharma.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing high-performing data science teams.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant data science tools and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial and survey data, and its application in healthcare analytics.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
