Job Description

Director of DataData Science / Decision ScienceLondon£150,000 - £170,000 + BenefitsHarnham is working with a leading UK Telco in hiring a Director to lead their Data Science efforts for their consumer business.You will work across their key brands and help drive the companys efforts in using cutting-edge techniques to improve Customer Decisioning and Marketing/CRM analytics.There has been significant investment into this area of the company, with continued growth expected throughout 2021, as well as a migration over to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).THE ROLEYou will be involved with:

  • Setting a roadmap and driving a culture of innovation across the business, including close collaboration with engineering and technology teams.
  • Leading a business unit focused on using data science and machine learning to solve key customer/marketing-related problems (e.g. Behaviour / Next Best Action)
  • Working with key stakeholders across the business to scope out new opportunities for Data Science and AI
  • Delivering a strong focus on automation across the business
    • YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEYou will have:
  • Significant experience in leading cross-functional data science and analytics teams to successful commercial outcomes
  • Proven experience in using cutting-edge techniques (machine learning) to drive value across customer and marketing analytics
  • The ability to act as a thought-leader for the business, staying ahead of data science industry changes
  • Experience in delivering on a data transformation/roadmap (from conception/ideation through to delivery).
