ukactive exists to improve the health of the nation by getting more people, more active, more often. Working in partnership with a broad range of organisations to support that vision, ukactive serve over 4,000 partners from across the public and privatesectors to improve the nations health. ukactive is currently seeking a Director of Business Operations to lead their financial and operational management (including HR, IT and Office Management) and to support in the delivery of the organisations objectives.A key position on the executive team and reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Director of Business Operations will be responsible for leading the financial management of the organisation and oversight of 5 finance team members. You will have responsibilityfor all aspects of financial controls, reporting and budget development as well as developing the long-term financial strategy. You will also oversee a small team of core operational and administrative functions including HR and IT. Duties will include butmay not be limited to the following:• Lead the financial management for ukactive, including all financial controls, statutory and regulatory requirements, financial reporting and budget development.• Work with Chair and members of the Finance and General Purpose Committee to oversee the financial control, reporting and management on behalf of the Board.• Ensure the Chief Executive, Board and Executive Team have the right level of financial information to lead the organisation.• Prepare and present financial information at ukactive Board Meetings.• Oversee the Finance, HR and IT teams (team of up to 10 people), ensuring effective working and compliance with key processes, such as KPI setting and performance management and reviews. • Lead on the development and reporting on key business KPIs and metrics, to support the successful delivery of the organisational business plan.• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders such as members, Government and Sport England.• Deputise for the CEO where required in meetings with key stakeholders.Whats on offer:
