Job Description

Director, IT AuditThe CompanyOur client is a global financial services group with offices London. It is one of the top names in its sector with a strong customer focus and a track record of strong growth.The Opportunity

  • Reporting to the Head of IT Audit, you will be responsible for leading a team responsible for delivering a portfolio of audits the technology risk landscape.
  • Working with the Head of IT Audit you will develop and oversee the delivery of the IT audit plan for your areas of coverage.
  • Working autonomously, you will own and manage the audit relationship with senior stakeholders across the organisation, including the senior IT leadership and their direct reports.
  • Develop the audit approach for critical aspects of the business.
  • Lead a small team to deliver the audit plan, with full responsibility for their professional development and as part of the Audit leadership team, contribute broadly to the functions success.
Your profile
  • Significant experience of leading and subsequently overseeing the delivery of a broad range of IT Audits, gained either through working in a major Financial Services firm either in internal audit (ideally), or another control function or in a Big4 consultancy(or equivalent) in an IT risk assurance or IT audit capacity.
  • You will either already be operating at Director level and have a proven track record of success and progression or be on the cusp of promotion to Director.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of risk and control and significant intellectual curiosity as well as the credibility to influence key stakeholders.
  • Be able to demonstrate both leadership and development of people to achieve business goals.
