Job Description

About the roleAt ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive. As the Director, Global Diversified Industries (Food, Beverage & Agribusiness), you will be responsible for growing an existing high profile client portfolio and targeting new-to-bank ("NTB") prospect names in the FB&A sectors. Clients will consist of GRP andcatch accounts, ranging from Agri global Commodity Trading Companies to household names with strong brand recognition. This is a growth focused role, aimed at covering and expanding relationships with large European MNC clients in the Food Beverage & Agribusiness ("FB&A") sectors. You will support the FB&A growth strategy to deliver high returning revenue into ANZs home marketsand international network. The role requires a combination of client focused relationship management, credit and effective structuring skills, superior execution, backed by integrity and a commitment to provide first class coverage, products and services toour clients. Responsibilities includes:

  • Develop strategic end-to-end client relationships and to capture meaningful banking wallet share, maximising returns from client relationships
  • Supporting on the business growth and contributing to the origination and execution of deals
  • Achievement of financial performance in line with targets as agreed
  • Develop clear and detailed understanding of customers including working with Insights team and other product partners, to identify new opportunities and deepening & expanding the existing relationships.
  • Identify new prospects together with Risk, Insights and product partners to establish strategies in bringing in new customers in line with the banks strategy.
  • Working closely with the ANZ Network globally, drive business opportunities, share best practice and share insight of client strategies across a diverse and complex client group. This is a demanding role that provides the opportunity to be involved in highprofile transactions that focus on relationship building and delivering strategic value
  • Create a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Originate and/or lead deal transactions and subsequent structuring needs across a range of products in conjunction with product partners, Risk, R&A, Compliance, Legal and KYC teams to deliver appropriate documentation as required.
  • Close liaison with R&A/Risk for accurate and current credit exposure and risk management in line with credit approvals policy and procedures
  • Ensure quality of portfolio through sound credit assessment, lending decisions and accurate account management.
Role Type: Permanent, Full Time What will you bringTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
  • Extensive client facing role within Corporate / Institutional Banking / Relationship Management
  • Tertiary qualified. Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, Economics or Law an advantage
  • International and global markets experience, ideally within European, US and Asia Pacific markets
  • Solid credit analysis skills. Financial modelling skills, high level computer literacy (excel/work etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge in banking products and structures, loans, trade finance, transaction banking and global markets
  • Excellent written, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong teamwork orientation is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present in a concise format
