Job Description

Location: LondonSalary: £170,000 - £230,000Overview:Our Cybersecurity team focuses on advising our clients on preventing and responding to the ever-increasing threats faced by their businesses. Our approach is business-centric; helping clients to understand, assess and manage their security risk in businessterms and to align their security investment and resources to their business risk appetite. The Cyber team works independently, as well as alongside the Digital, Enterprise Improvement, and Turnaround and Restructuring practices.Key responsibilities as a Director - Cyber Security include:

  • To understand and advise on the status and nature of our clients cybersecurity operations, utilising common frameworks (NIST, ISF & ISO) and independently conducting maturity-based assessments.
  • Collaborate and lead colleagues and clients in:
    • Completion of business-oriented cyber risk assessments.
    • Development of risk appetite aligned to business objectives.
    • Performing analysis of cybersecurity and technology controls.
    • Security road map design, development and costing.
  • Conduct security due-diligence assessments in support of mergers and acquisitions, particularly for private equity clients.
  • Lead the development of detailed and costed security programme plans based on strategic objectives, available resources and risk appetite; and to develop security service portfolios and operating models.
  • Act in an advisory or interim role while managing the delivery of security road maps/programmes.
  • Deliver projects alongside the CISO in the delivery of their leadership, programme and operational responsibilities; and to be comfortable operating at this level.
Skills required as a Director - Cyber Security:
  • Bachelors degree preferred alongside relevant technical qualifications (eg. CISSP or equivalent)
  • A combination of blue-chip security consulting experience and complimentary industry leadership experience in a CISO, BISO or security programme leadership role or similar would be highly appealing.
  • A demonstrated expertise in Security Architecture and/or Security Operational processes.
  • Demonstrated experience of leading, shaping and delivering a wide range of projects of different scales and complexity; Programme or project management office (PMO) experience desirable.
  • Excellent writing and communication / presentation capabilities
  • Highly competent in presentation and basic analytics tools - PowerPoint, Tableau, Excel.
