Job Description

They are now looking to hire a Director into their Loan Asset Management team to work onsite with a bulge bracket investment bank. This is a "number two" type role, working with a Senior Director in leading a team of Asset Managers, managing the relationshipwith the client and manage a part of the loan book.Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the the head of the team in leading Asset Managers responsible for the management of a portfolio of CRE warehouse lines secured by bilateral UK and European commercial real estate investment and development loans.
  • Working closely with and manage the relationship with the clients in-house Asset Management team.
  • Reviewing relevant finance documents prior to loan closing and through the life of the loan.
  • Liaising with borrowers, Facility Agents and their representatives in relation to ensuring reporting and other information required under the relevant finance documents are provided accurately.
  • Liaising with project monitors, borrowers and lenders with regard to drawdowns.
Requirements:
  • Experience in loan management, having knowledge of the European commercial real estate finance sector.
  • Solid analytical skills with interim to advanced level ability of Excel.
  • Experience managing a team of individuals helpful but not essential.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
