Job Description

Our client is seeking an ambitious and talented Direct Marketing Officer to join our Individual Giving team within the Fundraising department.Responsible for supporting the Fundraising team to influence supporter-base growth.The teamOur ambitious fundraising department generated over £6m in 21/22. We pride ourselves on being a supporter-focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, whilst delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the department is split into three teams:

  • Individual Giving (including the database team)
  • Community Fundraising
  • Philanthropic Partnerships
The roleThe Direct Marketing Officer will play a key role in the development of our Fundraising team, helping the charity to deliver on our strategic goals and achieve our mission and vision. This person will work across a range of fundraising and direct marketingchannels, underpinning all activity with data and insight to help deliver omnichannel fundraising campaigns that stand out amongst the crowd.
