Job Description

Digitiser Salary: £25k-£30k p.a. pro rata depending on experienceBenefits: 20 days holiday +statutory pro rataHours: Job Share, part time, permanent, flexible hoursLocation: London N7Our client, established in 1993, specialise predominantly in the pattern requirements of the garment industry. Their 5 staff are based conveniently in Central London and have in excess of 100 years combined industry experience.They provide a number of services to international clients, including Lectra grading, Gerber grading and marker making, and their main services include; pattern cutting, grading and marker making for the clothing, garment and sewn products industry.Due to continued success they are currently looking to recruit a Pattern Digitiser to join their team, this is an exciting and challenging role for a highly motivated individual who would like to progress their career within a well-established reputable company.Duties Include:

  • Preparation of existing patterns to facilitate digitalization
  • Digitizing of patterns into CAD systems both manually and using a scanner interface
  • Checking of input data to confirm integrity
  • Collation of completed pattern sets prior to delivery
  • The Ideal Candidate:
  • Must have familiarity with garment pattern and terminology
  • Lectra and Gerber grading knowledge is advantageous
  • Able to work successfully within a team to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
