Job Description

To make this happen, our products need to be simple, automated and easy for Partners and large customers to consume.The APIs Product Manager is responsible for defining the vision, roadmap and backlog for all APIs products across B2B. You will actively look at customer and market trends to think about "whats next" to innovate and be best-in-class in the UK and beyond.You will lead and collaborate with a cross-functional group to do this, including teams within Sales, Digital, IT, Product, Strategy and more. Your experience in API Marketplaces means you will bring a wealth of knowledge to the role, which you can use toconstructively challenge the status quo.You are results driven and will pull together and lead cross-functional groups including IT, Engineering, Sales and back-office teams to delivery successfully together. You are entrepreneurial and adaptable, but can also deal with process and controls toensure your deliveres are achieved on time and to budget.What will you be doing

  • Own the APIs backlog; create and communicate the roadmap in terms of both value/business benefits and deliveries
  • Delivery of the roadmap across multiple design and delivery teams within Vodafone UK, Vodafone Group and external suppliers
  • Consult and with sales and front-line teams to understand customers existing experience; define and share how this will change in the future
  • Become the subject matter expert for your products, ensuring you understand and have input into upstream activity that will impact your roadmap
Who are we looking for
  • Understand and can articulate business value and how your vision, roadmap and deliveries will achieve this
  • You have experience delivering results in a fast-paced, complex environment with multiple design and delivery functions
  • Quick to acquire product/technical expertise in order to understand current and desired product experience as well as underlying technology and dependencies
  • Can analyze and interpret data to provide insight-driven direction and to understand and address root cause issues
  • 5-10 years business experience in the implementation of APIs with an emphasis on developer engagement and interaction
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
  • Experience with Apigee, Mulesoft, or similar
