The Center for Countering Digital Hate is a non-profit organisation that analyses and actively disrupts the architecture of online hate and misinformation. We do this by exposing individuals and networks behind online hate and misinformation; introducing costs for those seeking to spread hate and misinformation; and providing public advice to stop their spread online.We are looking for a Digital Officer to join our London office. This role will lead on growing the Centers social media channels; produce engaging copy, graphics and video; and plan impactful digital launches and campaigns that reach millions of people.The successful candidate will have a proven record of growing an organisations key social media channels. You will have an excellent understanding of CCDHs key platforms, Twitter and Instagram; be able to write engaging and accurate copy; be proficient in both graphic design and video editing; have experience of using social media to grow mailing lists and drive fundraising; and have experience of managing websites and CRM systems. You will be driven, focused and highly organised in planning CCDHs regular content, and be able to communicate well with our wider team to deliver digital content for key projects.This is an exciting opportunity to produce cutting edge digital content on key contemporary issues, from online hate to the anti-vaccine movement, that will be seen by millions of people and have a wide-reaching impact.
