Prospectus is delighted to be working with the our partner to recruit a Digital Marketing Officer, who will support the communications team to deliver key digital marketing and advertising campaigns. This role will be focused on promoting the work andservices of the organisation to members of the public and to charitable fundraising organisations.Our client is committed to being a diverse and inclusive place of work and welcomes applications from all backgrounds. This role is offered on a full-time or0.8 (pro rata) basis for a 12-month fixed-term contract.The organisation was launched in July 2016 with responsibility for regulating all charitable fundraising in the UK. Its mission is to carry out an independent and non-statutory regulatory role in a waythat protects the public, donors and potential donors, not least those who may be vulnerable, from unacceptable fundraising practices. It sustains and enhances public confidence in the charitable sector, supports the sector to understand and carry out itsresponsibilities when engaging with the public and helps to create a positive donor experience, ensuring consistent fundraising standards across the UK.In consultation with the Communications Manager and Communications Officer, you will plan and execute day-to-daydigital advertising campaigns for online channels, such as social media, Google and other websites. Your detailed plans will be transparent and informative, and aligned with our campaign objectives.You will take the lead on researching the most effective channelsand approaches, maximising the impact and contributing to our marcoms strategy, in particular audience mapping and persona development. A key role will be to provide an analytical data-driven perspective, monitoring, reporting and analysing campaigns, so thatimprovements can be made, and maximum results achieved. You will bring expertise in tools such as Google Analytics and social media platform reporting, which will feed into existing communications reports and help the communications team develop a completepicture of engagement with its services. Day-to-day you will apply excellent copywriting skills and create engaging visual content, as well as oversee the effective moderation of comments on activity.The successful candidate will have track record of identifyingbest use of digital platforms for paid social and display ads to increase awareness and engagement. Alongside significant experience of planning and executing paid Google ad campaigns (search and display), assessing keywords and ad groups to optimise performance.You will be comfortable creating engaging content for a range of specific audiences. The Digital Marketing Officer will thrive in a strong collaborative and communicative way of working. They will support a small but high performing communications team andbring a methodical approach to their work.
