Job Description

Digital Innovation manager About the TeamThe Digital Innovation team, which forms part of the newly formed Design Studio within L&D, are embarking on a journey to transform the way we deliver learning solutions across our firm. The team researches, developsand delivers cutting edge learning experiences. Tomorrows learners will expect transformative digital and live learning environments, and this team is focussed on providing them. We are looking to further enhance our team with a diverse set of skills andexperience, and are looking for individuals with a passion for technology and desire to do things differently, bring creativity & innovation and have the ability to navigate ambiguity to deliver cutting edge learning experiences. Reporting to the Digital InnovationTeam Leader youll be a curious self-starter, ideally with prior experience in working with technology, innovation or similar projects, programmes or experiential events with a focus on technology, within a professional services or similar environment. Youllneed to demonstrate a strong breadth and depth of skills and experience as well as experience in leading teams and working with external suppliers, contractors and contingent workers. About the RoleResponsible for research & development, market research, pilotingand embedding new technologies in our internal learning solutions. Youll be required to:Research, develop, and implement new technology/tools into our projects and programmes , including transitioning to BAU and production of any process documentation forits adoptionDemonstrate an innovative and creative approach to learning design and conduct consultations in order to provide an opinion on how to digitalise existing learning products and experiences and articulate how technology could be leveraged to augmentlearners experiencesWork with design facilitators and wider learning design team to agree design approaches and work collaboratively to develop innovative learning solutionsEngage and build your network across L&D, UK business stakeholders and network firmsto understand how technology is being used in learning, and develop potential future use cases for emerging technologies Develop opportunities to build awareness and understanding of the use of technology in learning across the L&D function, investing timeto share your findings and expertise, and to help drive and demonstrate a digital mindset Coach, support and develop team members, sharing knowledge, experience and skills in a collaborative manner Show willingness and enthusiasm to continually develop newareas of specialisms related to emerging technologies, becoming viewed as a subject matter expert within the functionManage and oversee technology risk processes, as well as the procurement and commercial considerations of new and existing technologies Buildrelationships with third parties suppliers and vendors and actively explore their platforms and tools to validate their value based on our learning solution needsOversee video and animation workflows and processes, develop new workflows based on business demandsto release capacity Be prepared to travel within the UK and abroad and support the delivery of flagship programmes RequirementsEssentialExperience managing technology projects and providing consultation and guidance to others Have evidence of bringing newand innovative approaches to deliveryExperience of working with others to develop potential use cases for the application of technology in varying scenarios Experience of embedding tools/technologies within an internal organisation Experience of leading teamsand providing coaching to othersProven ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as a track record of working collaboratively as part of a wider-teamAbility to work with external clients and suppliers, and deal with detailed requirements to achieveour goalsAbility to build and maintain good relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders Managing and contracting with external suppliers to develop and deliver technology based solutions for learningAbility to share insight, and articulate opinions clearlyto a group with varied levels of technical knowledgeAbility to communicate confidently and effectively, both in written and verbal forSignificant attention to detail, able to manage time effectively to meet challenging deadlinesEffectively use online collaborationtools e.g. virtual meetings and Google G SuiteDesirableExperience working with emerging technologies such as virtual and augmented reality, chatbots, machine learning etc.Experience of research, development and delivery of event technologies Demonstrate awarenessof graphics, video development and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud) to create training assets for coursesExperience of building and managing teams comprised of offshore resources, contingent workers and/or external suppliersExperience ofapplication of technology to learning solutions Internal firm servicesIn order to deliver a first-class service to our clients, we need first-class support internally.
