Job Description

About the TeamThe Digital Innovation team, which forms part of the Design Studio within L&D, are embarking on a journey to transform the way we deliver effective learning solutions across our firm. The team researches, develops and delivers cutting edge,technology enhanced learning experiences. Tomorrows learners will expect transformative virtual and live learning environments, and this team is focussed on providing them. We are looking to enhance our team with a diverse set of skills and experience, andare looking for individuals with a passion for technology and desire to do things differently, creativity, with innovative ideas, and an ability to navigate ambiguity with a view to creating better outcomes. Reporting to the Digital Innovation team leader,youll be a curious self-starter, ideally with prior experience in working with technology, as part of projects / programmes or through experiential events with a focus on technology, within a professional services or similar environment. Youll need to demonstratea strong breadth and depth of existing skills as well as a willingness to continually develop new skills. About the RoleResponsible for research & development, market research, piloting and embedding new technologies in our internal learning solutions. Youllbe required toDevelop and deliver new technology/tools into our projects and programmes, to time and budget, producing assets and deliverables of a high quality Support Design Studio workshops and consultations, working with design facilitators and wider horizontalteam to agree approaches and consider how learning technologies can increase the learning effectiveness Demonstrate a willingness to continually develop new skills and areas of specialism Engage and build your network across L&D, UK business stakeholders andnetwork firms to understand how technology is being used in learning and develop potential future use cases for emerging technologies Coach and support peers and team members, sharing knowledge, experience and skills in a collaborative manner Collaborate andsupport the team in sharing their understanding of the use of technology in learning through various channels including workshops, presentations and training sessions, across the L&D function Build and maintain a good understanding of the external market,keeping pace with new learning technology trends and key suppliers delivering these services Work with external supplier in the design, development and delivery of a variety of digital learning assets and learning technology services Oversee and manage accessto tools and licences held within the Digital Innovation team Manage and maintain catalogue, including loaning of assets, of Digital Innovation hardware & technology e.g. cameras, VR headsets, iPads etcMaintain and develop the teams Google site, generatingideas for improvements and new contentBe prepared to travel within the UK and abroad and support the delivery of flagship programmes (when current travel restrictions are eased)RequirementsEssentialExperience delivering and contributing to technology projectsand development of specified project deliverables Have evidence of bringing new and innovative approaches to deliveryProven ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as a track record of working collaboratively as part of a wider-teamAbilityto work with external clients and suppliers, and deal with detailed requirements to achieve our goalsAbility to build and maintain good relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders Managing and contracting with external suppliers to develop and delivertechnology based solutions for learningAbility to share insight, and articulate opinions clearly to a group with varied levels of technical knowledgeAbility to communicate confidently and effectively, both in written and verbal formSignificant attention todetail, able to manage time effectively to meet challenging deadlinesEffectively use online collaboration tools e.g. virtual meetings and Google G SuiteDemonstrate willingness to continually develop new skills in line with emerging technology priority areasDesirableExperience working with emerging technologies such as virtual and augmented reality, chatbots, machine learning etc.Experience of research, development and delivery of event technologies Experience of elearning development tools and learning managementsystemsDemonstrate the ability to use, or quickly learn how to use, graphics, video development and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud) to create training assets for coursesExperience of working with offshore resources, contingent workers and/orexternal suppliersExperience of sharing knowledge and support upskilling of others e.g. through delivering workshops or virtual training sessions Not the role for youDid you know PwC offer flexible contract arrangements as well as contingent work (ie temporaryor day rate contracting)The skills we look for in future employeesAll our people need to demonstrate the skills and behaviours that support us in delivering our business strategy.
