Job Description

RSR Regulatory is a market leading recruitment business dedicated to supplying experienced practitioners on a temporary, contractual or permanent basis to the regulatory talent markets.We are currently recruiting for a Digital Forensic Examiner to work in South West London on a permanent basis. To be considered you will need to have law enforcement experience or equivalent in conducting digital forensic examinations. The Digital Forensic Examiner will also be confident in extracting data using industry-standard digital forensic software toolsRole Purpose

  • The Digital Forensic Examiner will work as a member of the investigation team in support of investigations requiring forensic imaging and acquisition and the processing of mobile devices
    • Key Responsibility
  • Forensic examination and investigation of electronic devices, in line with legislation, NPCC guidance and best practice.
  • Liaison with Law Enforcement, Partner Agencies, and internal investigators in support of investigations,
  • Preparing forensic strategies and supporting prosecutions by producing forensic reports as well as presenting evidence in court.
  • Examination of new devices and other methodologies that pose potential threats to the broadcasting industry
  • Production of internal information reports with intelligence gained from the forensic examination of digital media
  • Conduct training and presentations to educate internal and external audiences regarding copyright infringement
    • Experience & Skills
  • You will have completed relevant digital forensics certifications
  • Technical understanding of a wide range of streaming devices and apps
  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
  • Experience in exhibit handling principles and procedures.
  • Experience in presenting evidence in prosecutions
  • Experience in communicating technical concepts and information to any audience
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, facilitative and consulting skills
  • Able to demonstrate objectivity, sound reasoning, and deliver solutions with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate systematic planning of workloads
