Digital Content Editor - 12 month Fixed Term Contract Grade 9 (for internal purposes) Location: London or Dublin The Role: We are seeking a 12-month fixed term contract digital content editor. The successful candidate will edit and publish engaging, meaningful, and error-free financial research reports on structured finance, sovereigns, banks, and corporations. You will work to tight deadlines, ensuring our reports are first to market, clearly tell the credit story, and support market relevance. The Impact: You will produce content that meets evolving regulatory requirements and meets the strong quality standards of S&P Global Ratings. The quality of your work has a direct correlation on and is critical to S&P Global Ratings reputation and image The Team / The Business: S&P Global Ratings Editorial team consists of about 90 staff in offices around the world and is part of our Ratings Operations division. You will work closely with other editors, rating analysts, and operations specialists across all sectors to transform complex research, data, and analytical concepts into compelling published articles with a strong visual focus. This is a very exciting, diverse, and challenging environment. Responsibilities: Edit and publish reports to tight deadlines, while ensuring the highest standards of quality Craft text that is accurate, error-free, and tells the credit story Create and edit charts and tables in excel, Plotly, and other formats where needed Meet publishing targets Understand and conform to S&P Global Ratings standard operating procedures and policies related to publishing Maintain knowledge of the in-house StyleGuide and article formats to guide analysts in creating articles that conform to global publishing standards Requirements: Bachelors degree, preferably in journalism, business, humanities or business subjects, or demonstrated skill and experience Strong writing/editing skills with English as a first language Up to three years in editing/writing for business/financial publishing Advanced MS Word and Excel skills Strong digital skills to format and edit data visualizations and tables Willingness to adopt continuous improvement and innovation strategies such as Agile Energetic, creative, and independent, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment Some previous knowledge of Structured Finance would be an advantage Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, global and multicultural environment About S&P Global: S&P Global Ratings is the worlds leading provider of independent credit ratings.
