FSB, the UK’s largest business representative organisation for small businesses and the self-employed, is seeking a Digital Communications Officer to create content and deliver digital advocacy campaigns across our national social media channels and beyond.Through our digital communications, we connect with our members, the small business community as a whole, and key stakeholders and decision makers to amplify FSB’s brand and key messages, and to influence and effect change.This is a busy, hands-on role within FSB’s Media and Communications team, providing day-to-day content for our high-profile social media channels and working on longer-term content-creation projects for strategically-focussed digital activity around some of our core issues.We’re looking for a self-starter with strong editorial judgement, bags of creative ideas and the ability to evolve our digital content.Strong political awareness, an understanding of the importance of social media as a public relations tool, and previous experience of creating digital content and day-to-day management of social media accounts are highly desirable.An ability to film and edit short-form video content and produce infographics would also be a distinct advantage.In addition, the successful candidate will be required to use analytics tools to evaluate meaningfully the impact and measurable outcomes of specific digital communications.About UsAs experts in business, we offer our members a wide range of vital business services, including advice, financial expertise, support and a powerful voice in government.
