Job Description

Position: Digital Advertising Operations ManagerContract: PermanentSalary: £47,569 per annumStart date: ASAPBMJ are looking to recruit a Digital Advertising Operations Manager, who will be key member of the digital advertising team. The successful appicantneeds to be demonstrate a strong understanding of managing digital advertising campaigns, and have the analtical skill to assess campaign performance.The Digital Advertising Operations Manager will be responsible for delivering campaigns across BMJs portfolioof medical journals. They will manage the post-sale implementation of ad campaigns across various platforms (desktop, mobile, and smart devices) and supply channels (direct-sold, programmatic guaranteed, private marketplace), including in-house marketing campaigns.Responsibilities Traffic, QA, and monitor advertising campaigns running across the BMJ portfolio of journals and reconcile impression delivery. Traffic ads across a range of sites and email newsletters Identify, analyse, and troubleshoot any creative or ad-servingissues which impact delivery, 3rd party tracking and reporting. Collaborate with the sales team on campaign optimisation recommendations, using an understanding of advertiser goals. Serve as an initial point of contact for sales support, across direct andprogrammatic. Be the first point of contact for all advertising technical queries and setup with internal tech teams. Share knowledge with the business on new and existing technology. Yield optimisation through programmatic channels Liaising with creativeagencies to obtain collateral for advertising campaigns, and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise with this collateralQualifications Ideally education to degree level A minimum of 5 years experience managing digital ad operations in the publisher sidedigital products Experience using ad serving technology. Google Ad Manager expertise is required Ability to master new technologies and platforms Extensive experience in tracking and reporting of campaign performance to ensure they are being delivered effectivelyon time, and to quality standards to ensure clients are happy and remain spending their ad revenue with the BMJ. Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS and Javascript would be advantageous. Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to prioritise workload. Analyticsskills in order to assess campaign performance and yield optimisation.
