Job Description

DevSecOps EngineerHybrid/Remote£85£100kAre you a driven, talented DevSecOps Engineer with a working knowledge in AWSA senior opportunity has just come up where you will be developing new financial compliance tools and ensuring security is implemented throughout the SDLC. Theyre a SaaS company focused on preventing financial fraud and money laundering and have been recognisedfor numerous innovation awards.You will be given autonomy to start building out the function and spearheading business-critical cloud projects.The Role:You will be involved in:

  • Delivering security automation capabilities in CI/CD pipelines, including the automation of secrets management and of SCA/DAST/SAST and other security assurance tools.
  • Working with the engineering and development teams to integrate security processes, procedures and technologies into the automated deployment and validation of solution releases.
  • Security tool administration:
    • Encryption key and Certificates management for security products
    • Maintain software version and patch management for security products
    • IDS/IPS and WAF policies administration and maintenance
    • DLP policy administration and maintenance
    • Software licensing and renewal
  • Automate build, configuration, and updates for security tools.
  • Promote understanding and education of security engineering practices to colleagues
  • Assisting forensic investigation and malware analysis as needed
What you should have to be considered for this role:
  • Scripting and automation tools such as Python
  • Cloud Deployment, Operation and Security (AWS)
  • SAST/DAST/IAST/SCA security assurance tooling
  • Build and deployment pipeline technologies such as Ansible
  • Understanding of secure network architectures and technologies
