Job Description

DevOps Engineer (SRE Site Reliability Engineer Platform Engineering Architecture Cloud DevOps CI/CD Automation Release Tools Tooling Amazon Web Services AWS GCP Azure Go Java Python Kubernetes OpenShift Docker Terraform Rancher golang Agile Finance TradingFront Office Investment Banking Asset Manager Financial Services ArgoCD GitHub Actions GitLab) required by my trading software client in London.You MUST have the following:

  • Good experience as a DevOps/Cloud/Platform Engineer
  • GitHub, GitLab or GitHub Actions
  • Excellent knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP
  • DevOps in an enterprise environment
  • Good scripting ability in Go, Java, Python or similar
  • Agile
The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:
  • A background in software engineering/development
  • ArgoCD
Role: DevOps Engineer (SRE Site Reliability Engineer Platform Engineering Architecture Cloud DevOps CI/CD Automation Release Tools Tooling Amazon Web Services AWS GCP Azure Go Java Python Kubernetes OpenShift Docker Terraform Rancher golang Agile FinanceTrading Front Office Investment Banking Asset Manager Financial Services ArgoCD GitHub Actions GitLab) required by my trading software client in London. You will join a team that will soon be six, spread over London and New York, that will be responsible decidingthe companys CI/CD tooling strategy and leading its implementation. This will likely be GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, moving away from Jenkins but this is not set yet. After the set up of the tools and migration of apps, the team will be involved in the creationof internal tooling. Some of the modernisation will also include moving from AWS CloudFormation to Terraform. An adjacent team is building a selection of Kubernetes clusters for which this team will build the abstraction layer from which the 500 developersin the company can work.You will have strong DevOps or SRE experience with a good ability in scripting. Any background in development would be beneficial.Salary: £125k - £150k + 20% Bonus + Share Options + Pension
