Development Officer (Individuals)£30,440 - £34,240 per annum depending on experience/performancePermanent, Full time (35 hours per week)Ref: GS632The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is seeking an experienced, driven and creative Development Officer (Individuals).The School is a vibrant international community of young musicians, actors and production artists in the heart of the City of London. We produce outstanding graduates whose talents light up stages and concert platforms throughout the world.As well as providingprofessional training at junior, undergraduate and postgraduate level, the School has an impressive programme of regular performances, encompassing concerts, recitals, plays, operas and musicals, which are all open to the general public. Our campus boastsstate-of-the-art performance venues, as well as rehearsal and teaching spaces in our world renowned building, Milton Court.Working as part of the Supporter Engagement team within Development & Alumni Relations, the post-holder will aim to recruit and retaindonors, and manage our philanthropic membership schemes, the Guildhall Circle and Guildhall Patrons.Duties include: Using excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the successful candidate should be confident in building relationships with membersand donors giving annual gifts of up to £5,000. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of managing membership schemes and be confident in executing marketing activity and events to recruit new members and renew existing ones. To report ona regular basis, the retention and acquisition of donors and identify opportunities to grow the membership schemes and individual giving pipeline. Demonstrate experience in managing a pool of prospects including preparing cultivation plans, excellent stewardshipskills and making face to face asks.
