Prospectus is excited to be working exclusively with TaxAid and Tax Help for Older People to recruit a Development Manager to their expanding team. TaxAid and Tax Help for Older People are two charities that provide help through advice and advocacy to vulnerable,low-income taxpayers with a tax problem. TaxAid helps working age people in precarious and multiple employments, agency and gig workers. Tax Help for Older People supports older people grappling with pension tax, allowances, PAYE coding and self-assessment.This is a new role that will focus on increasing the number of referrals from third sector partners to the Tax Charities current advice services, as well as new service lines that are being developed where beneficiary research identifies a need. As DevelopmentManager you will cultivate and oversee relationships with a defined group of referring partners (including Citizens Advice and Age UK), in order to support the Tax Charities work and grow partnerships. You will monitor feedback from partners, identify themesand effectively influence colleagues to make changes that will improve the partner experience, ensuring high levels of partnership engagement satisfaction. You will work closely internally with the communications team in order to develop effective marketingcampaigns, as well as their Volunteer Manager to promote and showcase services.To apply for this role, you will be a strong relationship management with demonstrable experience of working in a charity or civil society partnership and engagement role. You will have significant experience of managing partnership pipelines and successfullydeveloping external stakeholder relationships. You will be confident in managing data, and will have demonstrable experience of developing systems to generate insights. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to engage a wide variety of audiences,and will ideally have had experience of working with grassroots organisations, including food banks and social care day centres.If you are interested in applying for this opportunity, please submit your CV in the first instance.
