These could include playing a part in some of the most exciting regeneration projectsin the country including a proposed 8,500 home development at Gilston in East Hertfordshire, redeveloping the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as well as joint ventures with National Grid (over 30 sites nationally), Urban Splash and Runnymede Borough Council.You will be responsible for the management of business planning and financial appraisals and ensuring financial models are updated on a regular basis to ensuring accurate forecasting. You will also play a lead role in masterplanning and optimizing schemesto ensure maximum returns delivered for the business as well as identifying areas for cost saving and value adding, whilst still delivering a high-quality scheme that our customers are proud to call home.For more information please download our job profile available on our website.More about youWe are looking for an experienced Development Manager who is looking to progress their career, working on interesting and challenging regeneration projects. You should be able to demonstrate clear experience of working on large scale mixed tenure developmentand/or regeneration schemes which may have involved working with private and/or public sector partners.You will also need to be able to evidence at application stage an understanding of the UK planning system, emerging planning and development policies and local/national political agendas. You will also possess good masterplanning skills and able to demonstratea broad experience base working on a range of scales of projects through to delivery.
