Job Description

External Job AdvertJob Role: Development InspectorLocation:Hybrid role, London/South EastHours:Monday to Friday(35 hours per week)Up to £24,000 per annum plus car allowanceAs a Property Inspector you will be contributing to Mainstays vision as the market leading provider of services to the UKs property sector. Mainstay is a professional services organisation, that delivers business expertise and services across the propertyindustry.This role reports to the Asset Management Team Leader.Main Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the Team Leader, to plan and assist in coordination to ensure each separate property is visited and inspected in line with a specified template and format, at least once in every three years.
  • During site visits consider potential opportunities for enhanced service provision and customer experience and potential additional income opportunities for the client.
  • In conjunction with the Asset Managers; to review Managing Agent performance ensuring all assets are maintained safely and diligently in line with client Asset Management Policy to the benefit of all stakeholders.
  • To support Asset Management activity on other funds/portfolios as required.
Skills and Experience
  • At least two years experience working within Asset/Property Management environment.
  • Hands on delivery of all aspects of Health & Safety legislation in relation to asset management.
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret site land registry title plans.
  • Full Driving Licence
  • PC literate and confident with using Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience of communicating with external and internal customers.
  • Knowledge and application of RICS and ARMA-Q codes of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordination and undertaking of site visits on the client portfolio
  • Identify additional fund income streams
  • Identify income opportunities for Mainstay through enhanced service provision.
