Development Coordinator We are currently recruiting for a Development Coordinator to start immediately on a 4-12 week temporary contract whilst the client recruits perm- £30,141-£35,662K £14.14-£16.73 an hour. WHO WILL YOU BE WORKING FOROur client is a film and television; charitable organisation which promotes and preserves filmmaking and television in the United Kingdom. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOINGTo provide full development project coordination and analytical support to the Film Fund, and provide practical and administrative support to the Editorial Team as required. To manage special projects where necessary.* To process, track and manage all feature film development applications.* To explain application and other processes as required to the external and internal stakeholders.* To maintain timely contact with applicants throughout the application process, providing relevant updates on progress in line with Lottery guidelines and requesting further material as appropriate.* To log, acknowledge receipt and circulate eligible applications to Editorial Team* To prepare project charts and participate in application and live project internal department meetings.* To liase with Production Finance and Business Affairs over the progress of development projects and their budgets, and to prepare all paperwork for and attend Finance Committee meetings.* To act as first port of call for and log all script deliveries and other materials (budgets, schedules, casting reports etc.) from producers, acknowledging and distributing to relevant team members.* To undertake research and special projects as required, using creative thinking and initiative.* To remain up to date on partner funding and other film funding opportunities, acting as advisor to applicants and replying to, general enquiries ABOUT YOU* Significant demonstrable experience in a similar administrative role.* Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and to manage and meet deadlines.* Experience of project management techniques.* A demonstrable interest in film and film development.* An understanding and appreciation of the purpose of public funding.* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.HOW DO I APPLYTo apply for this role, please click on the Apply button below.
