Role: Desktop Architect (Hands-on)Salary: £53-£60kPackage:· 5% Pension, which the company matches· 10% Bonus· £6,100 per annum Car allowance· 3x the salary life cover· PMI Single/Partner· 25 days holiday Location: LondonPurpose of the Role:As a hands-on, technical Desktop Architect you will ensure that the end user Estate is fully able to meet the needs of both existing and future business requirements. The role will entail defining and documenting principles, policies and standards, plan and manage phases of the design work and to perform post implementation reviews to validate builds against design.Required Technical Skills / Experiences:* Microsoft system Centre (SCCM, Intune, MEM) and Application packaging* Azure AD/OneDrive/Desktop Group Policy/MFA* Windows Desktop Operating Systems/Office365/End Point Protection* Cisco LAN/WAN/WiFi * Knowledge of Cloud based offerings - namely Azure and / or AWS.* Knowledge of infrastructure technology, including aiding a selection of optimal solutions to business problems.* Infrastructure design, maintenance and support techniques and procedures* IT Security awareness/Knowledge* Understanding of software licensing and software license management * Knowledge of IT Accreditation standards including iso27001 and CE+What good looks like:It is expected that you will proactively meet deadlines, handle pressure in an autonomous environment, take ownership of issues and their resolution and to consistently use technology and creativity to achieve maximum results.Why this role:There are less roles available but the need for excellent candidates is as high as ever; we appreciate that to attract the best people, we need to make the role appealing.
