A great new design role has arisen for one of my clients a leading supplier to several large retailers and supermarkets. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Womens Tailoring, Softs and outerwear Designer someone who is very productfocused, and used to working as part of a design team . This role is office based.Main responsibilities will include:Strong interpretation of trends into commercial designsDeveloping seasonal in-house collection which will fit into their customer baseFollowing product development through with our PD teamConstantly developing newness and emerging trendsAbility to work independently and manage product development overseasAbility to present product to clients and conduct customer meetings independentlyPerson specifications:Experience designing womens tailoring softs and outerwearAn understanding and passion for emerging trendsAppetite for design influences and strong eyeAbility to work proactively and be organisedStrong communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently at all levelsGood teamwork and inter-personal skillsCreative and innovative approach to problem solvingExcellent organisational skillsAbility to work on your own
