About the ClientAn established industrial roofing & Cladding contractor based in the South East is seeking an experienced Designer to join themSystems should include

About the RoleMain Purpose of the job:Working as part of a team in a fast pace environment. You must be able to work accurately within strict timescales. The ideal candidate will be technically creative with a strong work ethic.The post holder will:
  • Working to tender specifications to produce CAD designs from plans/ elevations/detailsetc
  • Tracking changes and develop in drawings and reporting to Contract Manager.
  • Produce mid project variations notes, drawings and records.
  • Co-ordinating the drawings development against site survey results
  • Schedule quantities of materials for estimating to purchase.
  • Attend Design Co-ordination meetings when required.
  • Attending occasional site visits.
  • Liaise closely with Contract Manager and various other departments within the company.
  • Plan and manage own workload.
