Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Centre CAD Design Engineer to join my clients team and play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and construction of state-of-the-art data centre facilities.Non-negotiable Skills:

  • CAD Design Engineer experience
  • Proficiency in redlining using Blue Beam and interpreting CAD drawings.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities:As a Data Centre CAD Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in the development and implementation of data centre projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Design and plan data centre site layouts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective implementation, with a focus on CAD drawings.
  • Contribute to projects in the US based on priority, supporting regional planning and design activities.
  • Lead the creation of CAD drawings for the construction of network infrastructure in various data centres, emphasizing mechanical, electrical, and cabling requirements.
  • Undertake site due diligence for locations and contribute to the design of building facilities solutions using CAD software.
Ideal Candidate:We are seeking candidates who are passionate about engineering, with a background in building design and construction, particularly those with experience in data centre projects. Familiarity with high-rise building infrastructure and hospital infrastructureis advantageous.Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a CAD Design Engineer, demonstrating expertise in interpreting CAT drawings and utilizing tools such as Blue Beam for redlining.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
