The ideal Design Director candidate will have a showstopping portfolio showcasing their inspiring designs aswell and explainingthe full creative thought process with each brief they are given. They will also have proven experience of inspiring and leading a team of designers.JOB DESCRIPTION:Your main duties and responsibilities include:Examples of great hands on design solutionsDirecting creative work with confidence and bravery, in order to answer the clients needs in fullAs Design Director you will select creative team members and allocating them against projectsInterviewing new creative recruitsConstantly challenging ways of working to keep the creative output fresh and industry leadingLiaising with and supporting Associate Creative DirectorsCreatively leading and presenting all of your projectsReviewing creative team members when requiredBriefing illustrators, lettering artists and general suppliersInputting and building thought processes for presentationsLeading briefings and design critiquesGuiding and influencing workflowInputting into the studio teamQuestioning and challenging briefing documentsWorking in collaboration with client service peersActively inputting on design strategy process, including learning their strategic toolsSeeing jobs through from concept to printChallenging senior creative team members with innovative and inspiring thinkingAct as a creative leader, inspiring and guiding your creative team on each projectArt directing photo-shootsTravelling to key business meetings when required, including international travelIf the role sounds of interest and you would like to find out more please apply below
