Aylesbury Waterside Theatre boasts a dynamic programme of high profile West End productions, live music, dance, comedy and the best childrens shows. The multi-functional venue can also accommodate conferences, meetings and live screenings. This is anexciting time to join the team as we reopen the Theatre with a new Theatre Director and Theatre Manager and welcome audiences back through our doors.As Deputy Technical Manager youll ensure we offer the highest standards of technical support to the visitingcompanies, producers and private hires bringing their performances and events to the venue, supporting the Technical and Building Manager to manage and lead a team of permanent and casual technicians. Establishing great relationships with the touring companiesvisiting us is a key part of the role. Youll also be responsible for maintaining the building to a high standard and establishing a positive safety culture throughout the venue team. This is a varied role including a good mixture of both planning and managementand practical technical work.Please see our job description download for full details of the role and responsibilities. Previous technical experience in a live entertainment context is essential, but this does not have to be a theatre and we are keen to hearfrom candidates from a wide range of backgrounds.
