m2r Education are working with this Vietnamese based, leading international school group who require a Deputy Head of School to join in July 21.This new school is based in Starlake City, Hanoi. Through the close collaboration between Hanoi City and Daewoo E&C, Starlake has been developed to flourish as a world-class urban town and ranks as the most luxurious and modern city in Vietnam, covers an area of 186.3 hectares, connecting with the green space of West Lake and the main roads to Noi Bai International Airport.The Deputy Head of School will be a leader of learning and an exemplary educator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. The role has responsibility for the development and implementation of sound curriculum practices and the organisational aspects of the day to day running of the School. You will work collaboratively with the teaching staff to enable the delivery of innovative learning programs that inspire students to love learning and attain their personal best.Strong academic leadership will be matched by sensitive pastoral care of students and colleagues. The role includes a teaching load of up to 50% with particular responsibility for modelling exemplary and innovative teaching practice to students and teachers from Grade 6 onwards. Typically, these programs will be developed and taught in collaboration with classroom teachers.The school opened in February 2021 with 600 students of which 96% are local. Located on an area of over 20,000m2, with the capacity of 122 classrooms, more than 40 subject rooms, full facilities including a 1,000 seated theatre, and creativity studios, this is considered one of the most progressive world class schools.Experience / Qualifications: Educated to Masters Degree level ideally in Education American curriculum experience is preferred Large international school (min 1000 students) experience Clear police check At least 5 years relevant experience Package: Tax-free salary dependent on experience, up to £3600 per month net.
