NHS South West LondonClinical Commissioning Group (CCG)is responsible for planning, commissioning and buying healthservices for people living and working in South West London. As a CCG, we’re a membership organisation made up of over 180 GP practices within South West London. We serve just under 1.5 million people across our six diverse boroughs: Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth. We manage local healthcare budgets of over £2.3 billion andcommission a range of health services on behalf of our residents. The services that we’re responsible for include primary care (the services you receive at your GP practice), hospital treatment, rehabilitation services, urgent and emergency care, community health services, mental health and learning disability services.Please note: applications from NHS staff in London at risk of redundancy will be given priority.This is an exciting opportunitiy for a senior manager to oversee the SWL CCG’s primary care strategy including the development of Primary Care Networks and building on the many innovations as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.The role is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of implementing a number of exciting transformational programmes within primary care ranging from digital innovation through to ensuring our residents can access consistently excellent primary care.The post holder will build on the established relatonships with our six local borough teams, seeking to build concensus and share learning and opportunities in order to bring about further improvements.Alongside the transformational elements of the role, the post holder will be responsible for leading the NHSE delegated commissioning functions and budgets for primary care, ensuring appropriate governance via local management committees and the CCG’s Primary Care Commissioning Committee in conjunction with our six borough teams.The post holder will work closely with the Director of Primary Care and will be expected to represent primary care in a range of internal and external stakeholder meetings.For more information please contact: Andrew.McMylor@swlondon.nhs.uk / .
