Contract Type - Temporary ongoingHours - Typical attendance will be between 08:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday, however you may be required to work Saturday (subject to business requirements) Flexibility is essential.Location - BecktonAbout the role - You will start your day loading and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle, once your vehicle is loaded youll be busy collecting and delivering parcels in specific geographical areas around East London, delivering inexcess of 60 parcels per day. Training will be provided and you will be required to take a driving assessment prior to your start date. You must go the extra mile for client and your customers as you have full responsibility in ensuring you deliver everythingfrom birthday presents to vital business information.About you - Our drivers are the face of our client so we are looking for someone who is helpful and friendly and looking for a long-term career in an ambitious and growing company. A positive person with good people skills, presentable inappearance and has a strong work ethic. It is important that youre able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg.Prior experience doing deliveries or courier driving in a 3.5T vehicle is preferred but not essential, you will also need your own sat nav to support you with the provided route plannerSuccessful candidates will have a full clean UK driving licence (less than 6 points will be considered).Suitable candidates will be subject to a security vetting process and DBS Checks, so will need to provide documents of proof of ID, 5-year address history and 5-year work historyWild Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
