About the team:The Lambeth DBT Service consists of the Clinical Lead and 2 DBT therapists, along with 3 Psychologists who do sessions with the service, an honorary DBT Therapist and the Trust DBT Lead. The DBT service sits within the community MDT Focused Support Teams in Lambeth.The Lambeth DBT Team also sit within the wider Trust DBT service which has DBT teams in each of the four boroughs, who deliver some adjunctive groups and have CPD training sessions together.About the role:We are recruiting a DBT Therapist/Clinical/Counselling Psychologist in Lambeth and welcome applications from skilled and enthusiastic (intensively trained) DBT therapists.The post holder will be responsible for running the DBT Service and for managing (in collaboration with the FST manager) and supervising the staff who work within it. The service delivers a comprehensive DBT programme, consisting of individual therapy, skills training groups, phone coaching and weekly consultation group (all of which are currently being delivered remotely). In addition, the DBT team are involved in the delivery and supervision of DBT-informed stepped care interventions for clients in the wider MDT community teams, who present with emotion regulation difficulties.About the location:The post holder would be based at the Lambeth North Focused Support Team, 332 Brixton Road, Brixton, SW9 7AAOur Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2).
