Job Description

Database AssistantChildrens hospital charityUp to £33,000Hybrid - 2 days per week in the Russell Square office and 3 days from home. Flexible working patterns.Excellent benefits package, including 38 days annual leave and lots of scope for career progressionCharity People is delighted to be working with one of the UKs most loved charities in the search for a proactive and hard working Database Officer to join their welcoming team. You will be importing data in Salesforce from the busy fundraising departmentbefore building your skills so you can work on projects and be a first hand assistant to some of the top fundraisers in the country.In a typical week you can expect to:

  • Direct all supporter-related financial and non-financial data imported into Salesforce in a timely and consistent manner, including resolution of all errors and rejects
  • Manage ETL development/testing to make improvements to the import process and onboard new agencies for fundraising streams
  • Handle monthly reconciliation with the Finance system and ensure timely payment of specific funds, such as Gift Aid and Direct Debits, through submission of appropriate reports and claims at designated times
  • Create and update documentation for all imports and data processes.
You will need experience managing and importing bulk data and resolving related issues. You will also require:Essential:Experience in data analysis and reconciliation, including reporting, running selections and building queries within CRM systems/databasesSkills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Salesforce CRM solution (or similar), with an understanding of basic data structure and creating reportsDesirableExperience of direct debit processing and/or AgressoFamiliarity with project management/collaboration tools such as Jira/Confluence and awareness of Kanban and Scrum methodologies, plus HMRC Gift Aid submissions.If you are keen to hear more, please send your CV toCharity People actively promotes equality, diversity and inclusion.
