Database AssistantHospital charityHybrid in one of the central London officesFlexible hoursPermanent (contract option available if preferred)If you know your way around a relational database (ideally Raisers Edge). we have numerous positions to help a major London hospital charity as they undergo a major CRM migration project. Their needs are great for the next 12 months and beyond so this positionis for either permanent or a fixed term contract depending on your preference.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced database officer to gain valuable experience with a fantastic data team with a major charity. You can work from home or use any of the London offices. Flexible hours and contract options.Key responsibilitiesThe Database Assistant is a key role in supporting the Fundraising & Supporter Development team. The Database Assistant imports, updates, and maintains data in our fundraising database, as well as training others in the department to use it. This role willalso be integral in preparing for migrating fundraising data into the new Dynamics CRM which should launch in the spring of 2023.* Complete regular data imports within set Service Level Agreements (SLAs)* Run regular data diagnostics and clean up records as appropriate* Provide support and training for all database users via our helpdesk and in person* The team of Database Assistants are responsible for monitoring and responding to our helpdesk emails; this includes completing straightforward requests within agreed SLAs and assigning more complicated tasks to the appropriate member of the Data Team* The role holder will need to work closely with the other Database Assistants, as well as the rest of the Data Team and Supporter Services* Provide one-to-one introductory training in using the database to new members of staff* Appropriately prioritise your own workload to ensure all tasks are completed within set SLAsThis is an exceptional oppotunity to develop your career in the charity sector and really help out a phenomenal health charity during a time of change, while you gain experience of a major CRM migration, and beyond if you wish to stay permanently.If you would like to apply, please do not delay - send your CV to Charity People actively promotes equality, diversity and inclusion.
