Job Description

Salt is proud to collaborate with a globally recognised luxury fashion client as they seek to hire a driven and highly experienced Data Strategist to lead their DS team and lead in the delivery of building data, technology and operational best practicesnecessary to carry out their overall data strategy plan. This will include all aspects of customer segmentation to first party data capture, through to consumer acquisition and retention along the customer journey across all brand and various channels forthe EMEA region.This is an immediate starting, hybrid operating (2 days per week to Central London HQ) opportunity, which will bridge the gap as they seek to hire a permanent placement. You will oversee management of a CDP migration project and manage x2 driven and autonomousjunior analysts and x1 intern during the contract term. Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the delivery of data requirements to support CRM strategies for all direct-to-consumer channels
  • Oversee audience selection and data implementation in ESP
  • Consistently manage database reporting, campaign data trouble shooting and ongoing optimisation
  • Create and maintain data standards and procedures which will ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency
  • Oversee the management of customer data, including data acquisition, storage and analysis
  • Lead the MarTech implementation as necessary including new data feeds, Microsite development, omnichannel optimisation
  • Monitor and evaluate data capture processes and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the CRM Agency on development and opportunities of the AI model suite
  • Track performance of the customer database across AI models as required
  • Support the existing test and learn roadmap ans advise on optimisation in partnership with CRM team
  • Be the driving force behind the EMEA CDP migration project, managing the timelines, data mapping, data cleaning, and data validation
  • Ensure prioritisation and delivery of all Data Strategy projects
  • Report directly to, and work closely with the Insights and Data Strategy Director on team goals and delivery
Key Skill Requirements:
  • Hold 5+ years relevant data experience in Data Strategy, CRM or Marketing Strategy
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Great experience in prioritisation and managing team projects
  • Be a highly self-motivated, analytical person, with key attention to detail
  • You will ideally hold experience with SFMC or another ESP
  • Experience with launching customer databases, CDP
  • Previous experience in leading MarTech integrations
  • Have SQL/Java JDBC or another database language
