A Data Scientist with modelling experience in the customer & marketing domain required for this 12-month fixed term PAYE contract position. This is an exciting opportunity to work with CRM / Marketing / Customer Loyalty teams that engage with customers thatattend live entertainment / event venues that can offer hospitality facilities (restaurants, bars etc). The Data Scientist will work on a new customer data platform that collates transactional, demographic, survey and marketing data to enhance loyalty andCRM programmes. Youll be creating and iterating propensity / predictive models, developing audience segmentations, helping deploy and automate models and getting involved with MLOps. Its a hybrid position based in the heart of Central London with flexibilityto work from home 2/3 days per week.Key responsibilities for the post include; * Consult across various teams to understand how data can generate insights for them.* Use the customer data platform to support (and automate) decision making across the business.* Responsible for data pipelines, model optimisation, MLOps and handling runtimes.* Offer insights to business questions, e.g. A/B testing, segmentations, and propensity / predictive modelling.* Provide expert knowledge on data visualisation and storytelling.* Collaborate with other data professionals and foster a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement. Key skills and experience required; * 3+ years experience within a data-driven analytical role, with the ability to analyse and manipulate large data sets.* Very strong SQL and data warehousing experience (experience with Snowflake is beneficial).* Strong Python & ML modelling experience and a solid grounding in statistics.* Experience with propensity / predictive models.* Experience in building and optimising data science workloads in cloud environments (experience with AWS SageMaker is beneficial).* Familiar with visualisation tools such Power BI, Tableau, Looker etc.* Customer / Marketing Analytics experience - familiar with analysing customer data.* Excellent stakeholder management - familiar with communicating and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.* Capable of leading and mentoring junior data analysts. Our client can offer a salary in the region of £55,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) plus attractive benefits.
