Data Reporting Officer - Trade Association - Central London - up to £30,000 + benefitsWe are looking for a Data Reporting Officer, with good MS Access and reporting skills,to join a large trade association that supports and promotes their UK industry both nationally and globally.As the Data Reporting Officer, you will support the work of the managers to deliver development, implementation and testing of new data products and services and enhancements to existing products and services.You will be development lead of any existing and SQL based products and services and you will will help to monitor and provide system support for all systems which support products and services.About you:A self stater with the ability to use your initiative, you will have appreciation for databases and reporting systems, understanding how different techniques can be used to interrogate and extract data. You will be proficient in using MS Office includingMS Access and other database packages; youll love reporting and so will have strong knowledge of report creation using Report Builder (SSRS) and youll possess solid knowledge of SQL.Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivery of quarterly and annual data sets, including the provision of reports for the Online Data Sales Platform
• Providing other data reports as required and suggesting improvements to continuously reduce the requirement for ad-hoc reporting
• Providing support to managers to monitor the performance of all AIS system which support products and services
• Assisting in devising support processes for new products and services and updating support processes
• Assisting with User Acceptance Testing for all new products and services and enhancements/changes to existing products and services (input into test strategies, creation of test scenarios and completion of user acceptance testing etc.)
• Assisting with day-to-day development activities for projects and system enhancements to ensure work is delivered on budget and on time
• Engaging with service providers to deliver any new or changes to existing data extracts or special reports; liaising with the Reporting Analyst on any issues with the implementation or delivery
• Continuously review systems, processes, standard operating procedures for development, testing and system support and to define and implement improvements

What were looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar Data Analyst / Data Reporting position in a large organisation
• Proficient user of MS Office including MS Access (or other database packages)
• Demonstrable knowledge of report creation using Report Builder (SSRS)
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Appreciation of databases and reporting systems and an understanding of how different techniques can be used to interrogate and extract data
• Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing and the ability to create test scenarios (desirable)
• Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English
• Ability to develop good working relationships with clients, stakeholders and service providers
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of commercially sensitive and personal data
