The Role:The Investment Data & Reporting Services ("DRS") team is responsible for delivering and overseeing business-critical data for stakeholders across a number of key applications. The DRS team is undergoing significant change driven by strategic programmes, newbusiness, organisational change along with its own Target Operating Model transformation. In this role you will support the Head of Operational Readiness in representing the DRS team to ensure that they have the necessary capabilities to deliver this change enabling high quality, value add data services to our Investment teams, Clients and the Regulators.You will be working with a number of stakeholders and change initiatives from across the organisation, and working with the DRS SMEs. Key Responsibilities for this role:
  • Representing the team across fund launches, new mandates, new instrument and new market working groups to deliver the requirements of the team to support the new initiatives.
  • Working with the ESG programme on requirements related to data sourcing, assurance and client reporting to assist with delivering solutions into the DRS team
  • Manage the pipeline of change and new initiatives into the team, to assist with prioritisation of deliveries.
  • Production of high quality Management Information on the change initiatives and pipeline of work into the team.
  • Produce requirement documents for DRS change requests to support the teams strategy.
  • Assist with defining the business processes which deliver high quality data services.
  • Understand the teams operating model and how future pipelines, change programmes, clients expectations and regulatory obligations impacts the operating model.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements of new initiatives impacting the DRS team and manage the stakeholders expectations in delivering the change.
  • Advise the team on impacts to change and resourcing.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and across differing asset classes (Fixed Income, Equities, OTC & ETD Derivatives, Leveraged Loans, Private Debt & Equity)
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the business and manage their expectations
  • Proactive and delivery focused with excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to expand knowledge in the role to the benefit of the wider team
  • Experience in gathering and producing clear and precise requirements, both written and verbally
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliveries
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to generate solutions
  • Understanding of the M&G fund ranges is advantageous.
  • Understanding of ESG, with some experience in this area preferable
