Job Description

Role - Data Operations ManagerWork Pattern - RemoteSkills - SQL / BI ToolsSalary - Up to £70,000Oscar Technology have partnered with a global organisation who are looking to bring in a Data Operations Manager to help lead the development of their brand new data lake. The Data Lake currently processes nearly 1 billion rows of data daily!In this position, you will own the "back-end" data operations, ensuring everything from ingestion to availability of data for reporting is running smoothly as well as project managing large scale updates, improvements and upgrades.The role can be offered completely remotely, they do have an office space in London you can visit as much as you want.The company are globally involved in the music industry working with 100s of thousands of artists and 10s of thousands of labels.What makes this role standout

They aid you in the early days, they will set you up with an onboarding mentor who will help, guide and ease you through the start, answerquestions and get you up to speed in no time.Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of the Data Lake, including bug fixes and maintenance of the first phase of development.
  • Lead integration of dashboards for teams and member access.
  • Maintain and update Auxiliary tables within the Data Lake.
  • Look to consistently identify areas for script automation.
  • For the purpose of timely analysis and reporting by the Reporting teams, ensure the structure and availability of Discovery data
  • Supervise the generation of insights and execution of routine data scripts.
  • Evaluate third-party royalty processing options.
  • Alert on delays/errors through monitoring of data trends
  • Drive the introduction within Reporting and Insights.
  • Ensure timely Monthly Reporting.
Skills We are looking for skills in Data Warehouse or Data Lake management, specifically optimisation of processes and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data operations.
