A Global Reinsurancebusiness is seeking to hire a Data Governance Manager. The role will work directly with the CDO to develop and enhance the Data Governance framework. This is a key role for the business has they have implemented several changes to their approach to data in 2020 and are looking for a Data Management specialistto help ensure that these changes help empower the business.Data Governance Manager:- Drive best practices in data governance across the business- As part of the Data Leadership team make enhancements to governance policies- Work with stakeholders to drive data governance activities- Overseeall Data Governance tasks and activities with the different business units and project teams- Take ownershipof all Data Steward activities.- First point of contact in a Data Quality Issue Management process.- Work to define content of the Data Dictionary/catalogue and work with data stewards and teams to update and add to it.Requirments:- Minimum 5 years of experiencewithinData Governance- Deep knowledge of Data Governance best practices.- Knowledge and understanding of GDPR- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and practices.- Knowledge of key data warehouse and decision support concepts including each phase of the data warehouse life cycleFor more information, please apply to this advert.
