Data Engineer / Developer (Java Airflow Hadoop Spark) Are you a data-driven tech advocate looking for an opportunity to showcase your specialist skills, in a role where youll be equally challenged and supported in a highly technical, highly collaborative environment You could join this specialist consultancy, who deliver expertise in the commercial application of Big Data and Data Science technologies like Blockchain and IoT. They support their prestigious client list to get the most out of their data. In this Data Engineer role, youll join a team defined by exceptionally high calibre technologists, each of whom bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles, so they are equally seeking an accomplished Data Engineer with proven technical experience. Youll initially be involved with a high profile project for a client within the finance space, where youll call upon your industry experience to support the mission-critical data platform change programme as the client transitions from on-premise infrastructure to Cloudera. Your work will be complex and highly rewarding as youll get involved in a diverse range of projects and will take ownership of performance tuning and testing for a new on-premise HDP cluster. Youll also act as a critical point of contact for design and installation knowledge of Apache Airflow, so strong experience in this is vital.
