Data Engineer / Developer (Java Spark Hadoop Airflow Data). Are you a data savvy technologist You could be joining a UK based tech consultancy and progressing your career, working on a range of complex projects with modern technology choices.As a Data Engineer / Developer youll initially work on a key project for a banking / finance client, providing technical capabilities and skills with the view to supporting a mission-critical data platform change programme as the client migrates from on-premise infrastructure to Cloudera. Youll assist with a range of tasks which will include performance tuning and performance testing for a new on-premise HDP cluster and will be responsible for providing design and installation knowledge of Apache Airflow used as an extension of the existing platform. The company prides itself on innovation, youll be encouraged to keep up to date with new and emerging technologies with paid for training and certifications, and make recommendations for improvements.
