My client’s Consulting Group is one of the largest independent research advisors in the world, working in partnership with the UK and Europe’s leading developers, investors, asset managers and governments.They have a fantastic opportunity for a Jnr Data Engineer , you must a Computer Science (or similar ) degree and interest in database development, business intelligence or integration development..KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Developing and maintaining data pipeline infrastructure.Building bespoke tools and integrations to enhance our internal capabilities.Contributing to the planned roadmap for system changes and improvements.Developing and maintaining BI solutions.This is a unique opportunity to develop your technical skills, analytical techniques and commercial knowledge in a single team. In this role you will be making a meaningful impact, and see your insights regularly contribute to the success of the group.CORE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEA degree in Computer Science or related field, or experience in database development, business intelligence or integration development.Solid understanding of SQL data transformation and manipulation techniques. E.g. joins, aggregation, filtering, pivoting.Solid understanding of core programming concepts. E.g. variables, conditions, loops.Experience in, or comfortable with, applying knowledge in different programming languages.Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Required skills
