Job Description

Data Developer - Laptop Refresh OUTSIDE IR35We are recruiting for a Data Developer with a prove background in data management and development resource, ie background as DBA, database designer or data developerThis will be on an initial 4 month contract, remote working with occasional travel to London and Outside IR35.Primary Objective:

  • To improve data management (structure, workflows, interfaces, ingestion) within the laptop refresh cycle to create trusted data sources
Tasks
  • Manage data loading activities for a range of complex data sources (in excess of 200 data points)
  • Define the data model for those data to be managed in AirTable
  • Automate import activities through scripting or data loading templates
  • Define data reconciliation and error analysis criteria
  • Develop reports for a variety of high-level and low-level analysis (eg dashboard reporting; data import / reconciliation issues; data breakdown reports)
  • Define forms and interfaces to support non-tech users in accessing the databases in a simple format
  • Collate data requirements from non-technical users and map them to new or existing data structures
  • Define with other tech staff and end users the workflows and procedures for managing data sets
SkillsExperience
  • Experienced data management and development resource, ie background as DBA, database designer or data developer
  • Low code / no-code developer, with emphasis on database development
  • AirTable (Highly Desirable)
  • Data Modelling / Database modelling (relational databases (Highly Desirable)
  • Data import / reconciliation / error handling procedures (Desirable)
  • MS (T)SQL
  • Powershell
  • Front end user interfaces
  • ServiceNow integration
  • Workflow definition / workflow management
  • Detail-oriented, Agile experience (user stories), can-do attitude
