Continuous improvement of data quality and adherence to the use of trusted sources. Developing and managing materials for key governance committees, such as data initiatives, data issue management, and key performance indicators for data governance and quality.Another important aspect of the role is contributing to the automation and digitalisation of the Group Data Office data governance operating model and activities.Client DetailsA global financial services group spanning 30+ countries, connecting East and West markets. • Work with regional governance leads and data stewards and custodians to ensure data assets conform with data management framework requirements, with a focus on continued improvement of data quality and adherence to use of Trusted sources
• Develop, prepare and manage materials and content for key governance committees, covering areas such as data initiatives, data issues management, and KPIs (data governance, data quality)
• Contribute to the automation and digitalisation of Group Data Office data governance operating model and activities

ProfileAs the Data Business Analyst, London you will have:

• A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in data governance / operational data management in a large, complex organisation
• Track record in in developing and operationalising data framework requirements, notably policies, procedures, and standards
• Previous Consulting experience will be given preference
• Familiar with Data governance, metadata management, data quality, data stewardship, data protection and related technologies (data catalog, data quality management platforms)
• Proficient in MS Office, Confluence, Tableau, Alteryx; and basic familiarity (beginner level) with either Python or R
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills for senior management presentations and storytelling
• Knowledge of Cloud-based big data frameworks, including data lake, relational, Graph and no-SQL databases
• Experience in senior stakeholder management for change initiatives, especially in data and digital transformation
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening) and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset for complex situations and deriving workable actions
• Able to constructively challenge requirements to increase overall value to the firm
• Ability to work with virtual, cross-cultural, cross-border teams
• Flexible to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
