Job Description

DATA ARCHITECT (CONTRACT)£650-800 PER DAY (INSIDE IR35)6 MONTHSFULLY REMOTEOne of the UKs largest businesses is looking for a Data Architect to support them in the creation of Proof of Concept data platforms, utilising Collibra.THE COMPANY:This is one of the UKs most important businesses, with established consumer bases around the world. Playing an important role in the development of pharmaceuticals and everyday products.THE ROLE:As a Data Architect you will be responsible for designing and delivering architecture on all Metadata focused elements of the data platforms. Creating Data Dictionaries and homogenising data use across this international companyIn specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Represent the business in strategic project meetings, providing updates on the workstream and delivery timescales
  • Act as an SME to Data Privacy and Security, providing information to the DPO and share advise across the team
  • Design and Develop Metadata Architecture
  • Document all processes, assigning correct resources and data ownership for future projects
  • Work with the risk team to expand Data Governance Controls and Key Risk Indicators
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:The successful Data Architect will have the following skills and experience:
  • Clear demonstrable experience of working on the Metadata Management of major international businesses in the past
  • Strong understanding of Data Governance, Privacy & Security
  • Commercial experience working with Collibra
  • Strong background in Data Architecture
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
